Not long after Amber Rose pulled a reverential Rose McGowan, Katy Perry showed up with rapper Riff Raff in coordinating all-denim outfits à la Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake at the 2001 American Music Awards.
Perry’s strapless, floor-length Versace gown is a dead ringer for the custom creation Spears wore to match Timberlake’s Canadian tuxedo, jeweled belt et al.
For his part, Riff, with whom the popstar recently collaborated with on the “This Is How We Do” remix, played the perfect doppelgänger of early-aughts Timberlake — long chain necklaces and ombré shades finished with plenty of faux-swagger.
