Ari Taymor — the Los Angeles toque recently named one of Food & Wine’s Best New Chefs of 2014 — brought his West Coast eatery Alma to New York for one night to feed city fashion and foodie insiders.

­Details Editor-in-Chief Dan Peres hosted the meal Thursday at the Old Bowery Station, where Taymor was joined in the kitchen by Roberta’s chef Nick Parker as well as Taymor’s 15-year-old protégé, Flynn McGarry.

Seen sampling delights inspired by Alma’s regular menu were fashion designers Phillip Lim, Richard Chai, Michael Bastian and Public School’s Maxwell ­Osborne and Dao-Yi Chow as well as Julia Restoin Roitfeld, Meatball Shop co-owner Michael Chernow and Omar’s Omar Hernandez.
