Steve Kolb doesn’t expect any ‘J.Law slips’ at CFDA ceremony

Council of Fashion Designers of America CEO Steve Kolb says not to expect any Jennifer Lawrence-like slips at his group’s fashion awards ceremony at Alice Tully Hall on Monday.

“We have full day rehearsal,” he told Page Six. “Everybody rehearses, including the personalities and the celebrities.”

But safeguarding for wardrobe malfunctions above the feet can be more difficult.

“A couple years ago, Lady Gaga got the Fashion Icon Award, and she had an exposed nipple moment on the red carpet,” he told us. “Accidentally, I think.”

Rihanna and Tom Ford are being honored this year, and nominees include Marc Jacobs, Alexander Wang and Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen.
