There are changes afoot at clubby restaurant Beautique.
Sources tell us creative director Frank Roberts has left the business after opening the glamorous Midtown restaurant and lounge in April.
Roberts has a strong network of contacts from his days as a longtime manager at Rose Bar at the Gramercy Park Hotel, and insiders believe Beautique’s exclusive clientele will follow him.
Kevin Spacey, Kate Bosworth, Leonardo DiCaprio and Meg Ryan are among the well-to-do-patrons that frequent the restaurant, which has been called a “playpen for millionaires.”
We hear Roberts is leaving because of creative differences with his other partners.
Meanwhile, executive chef Craig Hopson also left Beautique a few weeks ago.
