“American Hustle” director David O. Russell is re-teaming with Jennifer Lawrence for a biopic about rags-to-riches Miracle Mop inventor Joy Mangano.
At the Ghetto Film School spring benefit, Russell said JLaw “can look, at certain angles, like a girl at a mall and, at others, extremely beautiful.” And, “It’s very hard to define what would make Jimmy Stewart special. It’s something down that same street.”
Also there to honor Katherine Oliver were Olivia Wilde and Lee Daniels.
