Robin Williams’ funeral will be small and intimate

Family and close friends of Robin Williams are gathering in the San Francisco area for what is expected to be a small, intimate funeral for the tragic funnyman.

“It’s not official yet, but that’s the plan,” a source familiar with the arrangements told E! News.

“It will be small. They were both very private people,” the source said of Williams and his widow, graphic designer and painter Susan Schneider.

He had three children — Zelda, 25, Cody, 22, and Zak, 31 — by two ex-wives.

The beloved comedian got his start in San Francisco and lived in the small community of Tiburon, a 30-minute drive away.

A second, more public memorial — a comedy benefit — is being planned.

The comedian was found hanged in his bedroom Monday. He was 63 and had been struggling not only with depression but also early-stage Parkinson’s disease, Schneider revealed Thursday.
