Stephanie Winston Wolkoff has resigned from her five-year post as IMG’s Fashion Consultant, during which she became a face of New York’s Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.
Sources tell us that Winston Wolkoff — dubbed “the ego-tamer, ringmaster . . . of Fashion Week” — decided not to renew her contract in the spring before William Morris Endeavor’s purchase of IMG Worldwide was completed.
A source said, “She was hesitant to sign on again even though IMG asked her to stay.”
Winston Wolkoff, previously director of special events for Vogue, was picked by Anna Wintour to oversee Fashion Week’s move from Bryant Park to Lincoln Center.
