Provocative Parisian artist Sophie Calle — whose work has included lying in a bed at the top of the Eiffel Tower and exhibiting a breakup letter sent to her by a boyfriend with 107 responses from professional women — will launch her next exhibition in the chapel of an Upper East Side church.

Calle’s “Rachel, Monique,” which focuses on the 2006 death of her mother and even features a film of the event, will be installed in the Episcopal Church of the Heavenly Rest on East 90th Street.

The church will continue to have services during the show’s run.

Paula Cooper Gallery and Galerie Perrotin will throw an opening reception Friday.

The Venice Biennale regular has also been a muse for writer Paul Auster.
