Who’s that girl?
On June 2, Tilda Swinton was spotted wearing a shoulder-length dark-blond wig, full makeup and a tan on the set of her new movie, “Trainwreck,” in New York City.
The 53-year-old Scottish actress’ character transformation is light years away from her trademark androgynous look — a blond pixie cut and pale skin with little or no makeup at all.
Although Swinton is no stranger to altering her appearance for movie roles (she took on a gender-bending part in 1992’s “Orlando”), this feminine aesthetic is a new one for her.
Despite details of “Trainwreck,” co-starring Brie Larson, Amy Schumer, Ezra Miller, Bill Hader and John Cena, being kept under wraps, Swinton’s ladylike attire will surely pique audience curiosity.
The film is set to hit theaters in 2015.
