How many Secret Service agents and security detail members does it take to accompany Vice President Joe Biden out for lunch in the Hamptons? Answer: around 20.
Biden, wife Jill and their daughter Ashley dined at 75 Main in Southampton Friday, sitting in a very public spot outside on the sidewalk cafe while a crowd gathered.
A spy said Biden, who looked dapper in pressed cream shorts and a blue polo shirt, and his family dined on lobster rolls and salad, while “there were around 20 people from his security detail posted around the restaurant.”
Despite that, Biden was happy to shake hands and pose for pictures with the throng waiting on the street by the time his lunch was over.
