Robin Thicke is having a tough week, and it’s only Wednesday.
In a revealing Hot 97 interview for his new album, “Paula,” the 37-year-old says he hasn’t seen estranged wife Paula Patton in quite some time. “I haven’t seen her for four months,” said a somber Thicke.
“We’re cool. She’s the best girl in the world. A great mother and still a good friend, but because we just weren’t ever together anymore and I still had so much I wanted apologize for and things I wanted to take responsibility for … But I also want to wish her well and let her know that she’s a great person and she deserves to have a good life.”
He hopes to reunite with her in the future. “Maybe a year or two off, we’ll become our own people without each other and then it will be meant to be,” said Thicke.
As if the constant reminder of Thicke’s failed marriage wasn’t enough, his promotional push on social media backfired Monday.
