Who said there’s no more beef in hip hop?

Nicki Minaj took the opportunity to diss Iggy Azaela while accepting her fifth straight Best Female Hip-Hop Artist award at Sunday’s BET Awards.

“What I want the world to know about Nicki Minaj is when you hear Nicki Minaj spit, Nicki Minaj wrote it,” she said before striking a few theatrical poses to the delight of Lil Wayne, who’d taken the stage with her, and presenter Floyd Mayweather Jr.

While she didn’t mention her rival emcee by name, it was clear to many who Minaj was talking about. Her fellow nominees were Azaela, Eve, Angel Haze and Charli Baltimore.

Azalea, whose album “The New Classic” has been one of the year’s biggest releases, has, as other publications have pointed out, long been rumored to have used ghostwriters throughout her career.

Just in case people were unclear what she really thought of the “Fancy” rapper, a smirking Minaj said, “No, no, no shade, no, no, no shade.”

This is the second time in as many months that she’s expressed her annoyance with Azaela.

After Forbes claimed the younger rapper was running hip hop, Minaj told “The Breakfast Club” (via AllHipHop) that was far from the case.

“Ok, I’m reloaded,” she said. “Listen, all Forbes needs to worry about is my finances and when I’m going to be selling Myx Fusion for $250 million. That’s all they need to worry about. We rely on Hip Hop journalism and blogs for THAT kind of information. So we appreciate that, but no thank you.”
