The New York Yankees honored p.r. powerhouse Howard J. Rubenstein Tuesday night at home plate.
Rubenstein and his firm have represented the Yankees for half of his 60 years in business.
Jennifer Steinbrenner Swindal presented Howard with a ring to complement the five World Series rings he’s received, and Derek Jeter and Joe Girardi presented him with balls and bats signed by Yankee greats.
Watching were friends including David Stern, Robert Morgenthau, Ray Kelly, George Pataki, Joe Lhota and Peter Gelb.
