Derek and Daniel Koch take business to Middle East

Twin nightlife impresarios Derek and Daniel Koch — the duo behind the infamous Champagne-soaked Day & Night brunch parties — are dissolving their business relationship with managers Michael Wainstein and Andreas Huber and are taking their parties to the Middle East, which may be tricky with the strict alcohol laws.

In 2011, their events annoyed tony Plaza tenants so much that the Oak Room lost its lease.

Last year, the Koch brothers clashed with their business partners over management of their hospitality firm Dual Groupe.

Wainstein and Huber, who own 50 percent of Dual Groupe, alleged that one spat even turned physical.

In February, the Koch twins filed a motion to dissolve the company, arguing that Wainstein still owed $83K each to Derek and Daniel.

The brothers are launching Day & Night in Dubai, with a weekly party at the Cavalli Club launching Tuesday and continuing every Tuesday until Memorial Day, when they will return to the Hamptons.

A lawyer for Wainstein and Huber had no comment, but was expected to file a response.
