James Cameron brings submarine to American Museum of Natural History

Larry David, Morgan Spurlock, Darren Aronofsky and other guests were greeted by the actual submarine James Cameron used to explore the ocean in “Deepsea Challenge 3D” at the American Museum of Natural History on Monday.

We’re told Charlie Rose moderated an introduction at the event, where Cameron thanked producer/director Andrew Wight and cinematographer Mike deGruy, who both tragically passed away in a helicopter accident the day they were supposed to begin filming.

Cameron ended on a light note, saying, “If what you’ve really been looking forward to is spending 90 minutes in a small space with me, then you’ll love it.”
