Joe Jonas knows who’s to blame for Justin Bieber‘s increasingly troubling behavior: the pop star’s father, Jeremy.
The 24-year-old, who knows how difficult it is to transition between teen and adult stardom, credits his family with helping him stay grounded in an interview with Scene magazine.
“I’ve had an easier route than most. The youngsters just turning 20, the Biebers of the world, are under a microscope,” the former Jonas Brother member said.
But as the musician points out, rather than receiving guidance from his father, the “Baby” singer, 20, has found another enabler.
“[Bieber] is having a very tough time finding balance. I think we all saw it coming. Your dad is your party animal — that’s going to sum it up pretty quick. There’s an equation for some sort of explosion,” the musician continued.
Jeremy Bieber has been present for much of his son’s tumultuous 2014, including being on the pop star’s private jet when it was searched at Teterboro Airport in New Jersey prior to the Super Bowl due to suspicion that there were drugs on board.
