The former gal pal of “Mambo Kings” actor Armand Assante dressed conservatively for Manhattan court Thursday where prosecutors offered her a plea deal for allegedly racking up $40,000 in charges on Josh Brolin’s credit card and shoplifting from Saks.
Brazilian stunner Giselle Oliveira, 34, was uncharacteristically demure, ditching her typical stilettos for low-healed sandals, her cleavage-baring blouses for a button down and wearing nude lipstick.
Prosecutors offered Assante’s troubled lover a plea deal of 15 days to six months in jail and five years probation if she cops to the crimes and makes significant restitution, said her defense lawyer Gerald Allen.
He said he’d discuss the offer with his client.
Oliveira is accused of using Brolin’s American Express account to buy $40,000 in clothes on a Web site from October 2010 to January 2013.
She also is accused of cutting the security tags off nearly $10,000 in clothes at a Saks in October and trying to sneak out with them.
She says a Hispanic man named “J” blackmailed her into ripping off Brolin.
“J made me steal the items from the list or he was going to show my fiancé naked photos of me with other men,” she told authorities, according to the court papers.
Brolin, a star of “No Country for Old Men,” has said he has never met her and ran into Assante only once at movie shoot.
If convicted at trial, she faces a maximum of 7 years on each grand larceny count.
