The emergency room of New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center was visited Monday by a woman in a bustier and bunny ears, by the name of Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin.
A descendent of the man who built Grand Central Station, Costin performed at Patrick McMullan’s party at the BPM nightclub on Monday in black gloves to hide a bandage on her hand.
The singer, whose “Here We Go” is a hit on Billboard’s Hot Dance Club chart, had been bitten earlier by her Pomeranian and received five stitches.
Costin performed, but went back to the hospital — in costume — because the wound was infected.
But the heiress has good news. Mercedes-Benz, which is launching a fragrance collection in the US, has named her a philanthropic ambassador for the brand. Plus, Costin is creating a jewelry line with Michel Piranesi for Sintessi.
