Beyoncé and Jay Z are sheltering themselves from breakup rumors by staying at their friend Gwyneth Paltrow’s LA mansion between tour dates.
Hip-hop’s royal couple, who have stayed silent amid reports of marital trouble, just wrapped up two shows in San Francisco on Tuesday and Wednesday, and we’re told they are staying at Paltrow’s $10.5 million Brentwood home before flying to France for gigs on Sept. 12 and 13.
On Monday, Beyoncé posted Instagram photos of herself in the doorway of a sunny home, showing off decor that looked similar to Paltrow’s Brentwood estate.
Bey and Jay are famously close with Paltrow and her “consciously uncoupled” husband Chris Martin, with Paltrow calling the rapper “Uncle Jay” in interviews.
In a February interview with South Africa’s Fairlady magazine, Paltrow said of her son Moses’ fondness for Hova: “I think my son would like to be more like Uncle Jay! He asked me the other day how he can look more like Uncle Jay. I said, ‘I would have to think about it.’ ”
Bey told E! of Paltrow last year: “She is incredible. She’s a great friend on every level.” Reps didn’t comment.
