Former NFL player-turned actor Terry Crews is known for his hard physique, but he showed a softer side when talking about his memoir, “Manhood,” at a cocktail party for the tome at Jimmy at the James Hotel Monday night.
“This book is all about mistakes,” the “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” star said, tearing up in front of his wife Rebecca and party host David Zinczenko, whose Zinc Ink published the just-released title.
“Men are dumb, so dumb, but if you stick with us, we can be amazing.”
