It’s hard out there for Anna Kendrick.

The “Pitch Perfect” star claims that she hasn’t been hit on in five years, in the July issue of Elle.

With a presumably straight face, Kendrick told the magazine that, “honest to God,” she hasn’t been hit on since appearing in 2009’s “Up in the Air,” for which she received a Best Supporting Actress Oscar nomination.

One reason for the flirting dry spell might be because the actress spent four of the past five years in a relationship with director Edgar Wright, whom she met on the set of “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World” in 2009.

The couple parted ways last year.

“I’ve never felt like I’ve exactly traded on my looks,” she told the magazine. “When I was a teenager, I was an ultra-late bloomer, and my mom would say it was a blessing, because it means you never have to wonder if guys are only interested in you because you’ve got boobs. I would have been thrilled if guys were interested in me because of my boobs!”

Kendrick is currently filming “Pitch Perfect 2,” which is due out in May of next year.
