Lady Gaga is channeling her inner “Little Mermaid” while in Tokyo.
The “Applause” singer attended ELE TOKYO club in Japan on Thursday wearing a full wire clam shell costume, accompanied by a dominatrix-style outfit full of chains and leather. The getup included ripped-up fishnet tights, black heeled combat boots, a black sheer top, and a leather neck collar with shoulder pads and chains covered in crosses.
Her outfit wasn’t the only dramatic flair of the night. Her makeup was also an artistic statement: Her nose was painted gold and her under-eye displayed a lace design. Her gothic lipstick tied the costume together.
Gaga recently finished up the U.S. leg of her ARTPOP tour and she is currently touring internationally. Having just wrapped up in Japan, she tweeted at her fans:
