Popular Amagansett seafood shack and bar Cyril’s Fish House lost a big battle after the New York State Liquor Authority voted to revoke its liquor license.
The agency voted Tuesday to yank the license, which expires in October, citing building and health violations against the roadside restaurant, which is popular at sunset and famed for its potent “B.B.C.” Baileys Banana Colada cocktail.
Owner Cyril Fitzsimons told us, “I don’t know what the hell’s up. The police have never been called once in 23 years.”
The ex-Marine is convinced East Hampton authorities are trying to push him out.
“Three years the town has been after me. Maybe they don’t like Republicans or Vietnam vets.” He plans to appeal.
