Morrissey wanted to get ‘rid of’ super-fan, bodyguard alleges

Think twice before starting a Morrissey fan blog.

Bradley Steyn, the British rocker’s former bodyguard, claims in a newly filed lawsuit that the singer was so mad at the operator of Morrissey-solo.com, he wanted him harmed, reports TMZ.

Steyn, who was hired after the 55-year-old Morrissey was rushed while on stage by a fan at a show in May, claims the singer first asked him if there was a way that the site’s webmaster, David Tseng, “could get hurt.”

But the “Suedehead” singer, who felt the site was an invasion of his privacy, didn’t stop there, and allegedly asked Steyn if the super-fan could be “gotten rid of.” The bodyguard declined, and according to his lawsuit, was fired the very next day.

Neither Morrissey nor his representatives have responded to the lawsuit.

This is the latest bizarre chapter in the singer’s dramatic life. In recent years, he’s called out Paul McCartney for his support of the Queen, compared eating meat to pedophilia, and become embroiled in a week-long feud with Jimmy Kimmel after the singer was booked on the same episode that the cast of “Duck Dynasty” was set to appear on.
