Comedian Donnell Rawlings is in police custody after he was caught allegedly driving drunk the wrong way down a one-way street in Midtown, police sources said.
The 43-year-old comedian was pulled over at 11th Avenue and 47th Street about 3:50 a.m. Friday and taken into police custody under suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
Ten minutes beforehand, police were in the process of arresting someone else for driving drunk down the same one-way street in the wrong direction, the sources said.
Charges against Rawlings are pending, cops said.
A police source said he blew over twice the legal limit.
Rawlings had been featured on several Comedy Central gigs and “Chappelle’s Show.”
He has also made guest appearances on the HBO series “The Wire.”
