Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti had strong motivation as he cheered for the LA Kings in the first game of the Stanley Cup finals during dinner with his wife, Amy Wakeland, at the Post & Beam restaurant in Baldwin Hills.
If the Kings don’t beat the NY Rangers, Garcetti will sing “New York, New York” on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and hand out hot dogs to the audience. If Garcetti wins the bet, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio will sing “I Love LA” on national TV.
Garcetti told the restaurant’s owner, Brad Johnson, that he plays piano and should have a musical edge. Does that qualify as trash-talking?
