Peter Brant Jr.’s lawyer: My client is an ‘idiot’

Supermodel Stephanie Seymour and billionaire Peter Brant’s handsome mannequin son is facing possible prison time for allegedly raising a limb-flailing, profanity-spewing drunken ruckus at John F. Kennedy International Airport on Wednesday night.

Peter Brant Jr., 22, of Greenwich, Conn., was charged Thursday night with felony assault on a Port Authority cop after JetBlue told him he was too drunk to board his 5 p.m. flight to West Palm Beach, Fla..

“I only had three drinks,” Brant insisted, according to Queens prosecutors.

“The defendant became so confrontational with airline staff due to extreme intoxication by at least alcohol, if not something more,” Assistant District Attorney Catherine Kane said. “The airline refused him passage and called the police. He became very agitated, upset and boisterous about being refused boarding.”

Brant also pushed his way out of an emergency exit in the terminal, setting off alarms.

Brant, who’s modeled for MAC Cosmetics, was released on $5,000 bail after his lawyer, Philip Russell, conceded of his client, “”He acted like an idiot.”
