Michelle Obama traveled to New York to honor Anna Wintour for the renaming of the Metropolitan’s Costume Institute on May 5, and now the Vogue editor-in-chief is returning the favor.
Wintour is hosting a dinner, along with the Democratic National Committee, for President Obama at her New York townhouse on June 17.
An invitation sent out to prominent donors says tickets are going for up to $32,000, with funds going to the DNC.
Wintour has been a prolific fund-raiser for Obama — in 2010, she hosted an intimate dinner with the president and her fashionable elite friends at her Greenwich Village home, followed by events in England and Paris for Obama’s reelection campaign in 2012.
