Oh là là: Google ups ad game with La Maison

CANNES — Google is teaming with French ad giant Publicis Groupe and Vogue publisher Condé Nast to launch a new marketing group for luxury brands.

The trio announced La Maison — or “House” in French — Thursday at the Cannes Lions festival that draws top ad execs from around the world.

The new unit will help Publicis’ clients such as Citigroup and T-Mobile identify the latest fashion and technology trends and create content aimed at affluent consumers.

Google will provide data and insights into consumers’ digital habits, including breaking down their interests by mobile, tablet and desktop. It will also draw on YouTube video search topics to create monthly reports.

Condé’s branded content group will produce material for brands that can be disseminated across Google’s properties and other digital outlets.
