Emanuel brothers causing a stir

It’s the Emanuel brothers’ world. We just live in it.

The incredibly successful siblings are Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, Obamacare architect Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel and William Morris Endeavor superagent Ari Emanuel. All three made headlines this week.

Buzz at the Conservative Political Action Conference is that Hillary Clinton might not be running for president in 2016 — and might instead be a placeholder for Rahm, who was President Obama’s chief of staff before he ran for mayor.

Another theory: Rahm will be Hillary’s running mate on a Clinton-Emanuel ticket.

One clue as to ruthless Rahm’s ambitions: He is being showcased in CNN’s “Chicagoland,” the documentary series produced by Robert Redford which debuted on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Zeke, the bioethicist and fellow at the Center for American Progress, has emerged as the chief apologist for Obamacare.

The doctor just released a book titled: “Reinventing American Healthcare: How the Affordable Care Act Will Improve Our Terribly Complex, Blatantly Unjust, Outrageously Expensive, Grossly Inefficient, Error Prone System.”

Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel’s recently published book on Obamacare and the US healthcare system.

And Ari — the template for the brash Ari Gold character Jeremy Piven played in “Entourage” — is being credited with killing Mel Gibson’s career with the column he wrote in the Huffington Post back in 2006, urging Hollywood to shun Gibson for making anti-Semitic remarks.

Allison Hope Weiner wrote Tuesday on Deadline.com that Gibson “hasn’t been directly employed by a studio since ‘Passion of the Christ’ was released in 2004.”

Weiner, who has become friends with Gibson, wrote, “It’s time to forgive Mel Gibson. He has been in the doghouse long enough. It’s time to give the guy another chance.” Not until Ari Emanuel says so.
