Liam Gallagher gets cold shoulder during custody hearing

Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher got the cold shoulder in a Manhattan courthouse Monday from the rock journalist with whom he sired a son.

Liza Ghorbani and the rocker were in Manhattan Supreme Court over their child support squabble, but when Gallagher tried to be a gentleman and offered an “after you” to his ex-lover as the two approached the courtroom well, the freelance writer ignored the icebreaker.

Gallagher, dressed in a blue and brown leather jacket, stood dumbfounded until his attorney prompted, “Come on, Liam!”

Manhattan Justice Laura Drager ordered Gallagher to continue paying temporary child support and gave the parties three more weeks to hatch a deal.

“I know that you’ve had some discussions that hopefully will produce a settlement agreement,” Drager urged as Gallagher and Ghorbani sat at opposite ends of the courtroom.

A confidentiality clause prevented either side from commenting or disclosing how much Gallagher has been paying for his 17-month-old daughter, Gemma, since January.

Before the hearing, the two sides waited, barely more than an arm’s length apart, for their attorneys to finish meeting with Drager in her chambers. Ghorbani assiduously avoided eye contact, absorbed in her Kindle.

The aging rocker, meanwhile, appeared bored, rubbing his forehead with his hands and periodically checking his cellphone.

In her 2010 New York Times profile “A Night Out with Liam Gallagher,” Ghorbani gushed that the British star “turned heads” and “looked as if he’d just stepped off Carnaby Street in London circa 1969.”

The affair began shortly after the piece was published.

But the sparks sizzled after Ghorbani sued the married rocker for $3 million in child support last year.

Gallagher, 41, recently split from his wife of six years after she discovered his affair with Ghorbani. He has four children, including Gemma, with four different women.

Back across the pond, speculation is rampant that Gallagher is gearing up for an Oasis reunion tour after he tweeted the letters “O-A-S-I-S.”

The “Wonderwall” group broke up in 2009 after Gallagher got into a backstage fight with his brother, guitarist Noel Gallagher.
