Maroulis announces he’s ‘coming home’ to ‘Rock of Ages’

Constantine Maroulis borrowed from LeBron James as he announced he’s returning to the Broadway musical “Rock of Ages” beginning on Aug. 4.

In breaking the news, the Tony-nominated actor riffed on LeBron’s emotional “I’m coming home” Web post announcing he would return to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Maroulis posted, “My relationship with ‘Rock of Ages’ is bigger than Broadway. I didn’t realize that four years ago. I do now. I’m ready to accept the challenge. I’m coming home.”

Page Six previously reported that on Saturday, a bass guitar was stolen when Maroulis and 1980s cover band Jessie’s Girl played a Hamptons charity gala.

Cops are investigating. But a reader who was at the bash emailed us on Wednesday to say the incident could just be a mix-up.

“It was a misunderstanding,” said the source. “I believe [the band] will get it back.”
