Good thing Bethenny Frankel and estranged husband Jason Hoppy settled their custody battle in court on Wednesday, because things were getting very ugly.

Last week, in a Manhattan court room, the former couple’s custody battle over 4-year-old daughter Bryn, that started when reality star, 43, and pharmaceutical rep, 43, separated 18 months ago, raged on.

“He would stare at me with a menacing look,” Frankel recalled at the time, according to Us Weekly. “He would hold Bryn while he was doing this. He would say … ‘I’m going to destroy you.'”

Last week, the magazine’s website reported Frankel also told the court about Hoppy’s attempts to turn her daughter against her.

“He would say, ‘Mommy should be Ursula the witch. She’s a great witch.  You be the princess, I’ll be the prince, Mommy will be the witch,'” she tearfully said.

While specifics of the case are still not known, sources close to the couple told the post that Hoppy won equal time with and decision-making authority. Frankel was seeking primary custody.
