Martin Short got a high-altitude scare while flying to the Hamptons by helicopter during Friday’s rainstorm to perform his hilarious one-man show at Guild Hall the day after.
A source said the “Three Amigos” comedian “freaked out” during the flight.
“Water was leaking into the chopper. He was convinced they were going to crash and die,” the Hollywood insider said.
Luckily, Short made it safely to the East End for his gig in front of guests including Barbra Streisand and James Brolin, and Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick.
A concerned rep for Short told us of her client’s harrowing flight: “I have no idea.” Guild Hall’s rep replied that Short “makes his own travel plans.”
