One Direction fans have been thrown into a tizz after Zayn Malik posted a photo of himself wearing what looks like a wedding ring.
The pop superstar uploaded the selfie to his newly-public Instagram account on Monday, lighting up social media with rumours he had secretly married fiancé Perrie Edwards.
However, a spokesperson insisted the picture showed his engagement ring.
“Perrie and Zayn are not married,” the rep told the Daily Mail.
Malik’s account, unlocked the same day he posted the picture, also provided fans with plenty of new eye candy — including topless snaps and some cute animal pictures.
