Katharine McPhee — the former “Smash” star whose personal life made headlines when she was caught smooching her show’s married director — is poised to make a TV comeback in CBS’ “Scorpion.”
The actress was seen celebrating the upcoming series about an “international ring of supergeniuses” at CBS’ upfronts party at Harlow in Midtown.
Execs Les Moonves and Nina Tassler also attended, along with stars Christine Baranski and LL Cool J.
Former “Roseanne” actors Sara Gilbert and Laurie Metcalf were spotted catching up, and Morgan Freeman, who’s executive producing the series “Madame Secretary” starring Téa Leoni as a secretary of state, was also circulating.
