Lindsay Lohan on Franco fiction: ‘I would never do that’

Lindsay Lohan says she didn’t read James Franco’s short story about a night he spent with a troubled actress named “Lindsay” at the Chateau Marmont.

“If someone wants to [write about me] for their own reasons, there’s nothing to say,” the 28-year-old “Speed-The-Plow” actress told MailOnline. “I’m not in their head. I would never do that. I didn’t read it.”

But when asked about Franco’s public denial of their encounter, Lohan says she pays it no mind.

“I don’t think about it,” she said. “When people say things about other people, I don’t think it’s necessary, I’ve never talked about anyone else and I never will.”

In June, Franco released a short story in Vice’s fiction issue about his experience with a troubled Hollywood actress named “Lindsay.”

The story came shortly after a list of Lohan’s past sexual partners, including Franco, was leaked. The 36-year-old “The Interview” star then went on Howard Stern and denied the rumors.

“I will swear on my mother’s life that I never had sex with her,” Franco said.

The list was created by Lohan while she went through a rehab program at the Betty Ford Center.

“I was in AA and that’s a really personal thing and there are steps and processes that you go through,” she explained. “I don’t want to say too much because there is anonymity between people and mine was broken. That’s one of the hardest steps, that’s something that is uncomfortable to have to say to anyone, let alone for it to be posted everywhere, so it’s not a joke, it wasn’t funny, it was cruel, it’s bad karma for whoever did it. It was s—y.”

Lohan will make her stage debut on Sept. 24 at London’s Playhouse Theatre.
