Feisty Lena Dunham got her sweet revenge on Howard Stern, who had previously called her a “little fat chick,” at his stellar 60th-birthday bash on Friday.
The “Girls” star was one of a host of celebrities to take the stage at the Hammerstein Ballroom to toast the Sirius XM host on Friday night.
She recalled that after Stern apologized for saying she “looked like Jonah Hill and was raping his eyes,” “he asked me if I was intimidated because my boyfriend could be getting much hotter ass.” Dunham continued, “I didn’t have the wherewithal to ask Howard if he was intimidated because Beth [Ostrosky Stern] could definitely be with someone . . . who doesn’t look like a cartoon of a Jewish female horse.”
But Dunham did concede to Howard, “I do believe that you are a champion of women in the arts.”
Guests at the raucous bash included Steven Tyler, who ended the show performing with Dave Grohl, Robert Downey Jr., Jon Bon Jovi, Barbara Walters, Sarah Silverman, David Letterman, Katie Couric, Ben Stiller and Chelsea Handler.
