The golf bromance between Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods has continued to blossom in New York this week. After taping “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” together on Monday, the two pros were spotted at Tao Downtown in Chelsea and then hanging out at nightclub Avenue with a group of male friends.
Spies said McIlroy and Woods mainly kept to themselves at a corner booth before leaving around 3 a.m.
The golf pair have been making the rounds together in town since arriving to do “Fallon.”
On Tuesday, they together took the ubiquitous “ice bucket challenge” to support ALS. McIlroy nominated former President George W. Bush, soccer pro Wayne Rooney and, surprisingly, actress and model Meghan Markle.
Woods challenged Nike chairman and co-founder Phil Knight and tennis champ Rafael Nadal, who recently pulled out of the upcoming US Open because of a wrist injury. We guess he’ll ask someone else to lift the ice bucket over his head.
