Sherri Shepherd‘s week has gotten even worse.

Shepherd’s first husband Jeff Tarpley is seeking full custody of the couple’s child, a  9-year-old boy with special needs named Jeffrey Jr., reports TMZ.

The news comes after it revealed that Shepherd’s estranged husband, Lamar Sally, is seeking full custody of the couple’s unborn child, due via surrogate in July.

In April, Tarpley filed an emergency request to modify the former couple’s custody arrangement, seeking full physical custody of their son, who he claims has been neglected by the television personality.

Tarpley claims Jeffrey Jr. can barely write, reads at a second grade level, can’t tie his shoes, and doesn’t know how to look after himself. He attributes this to his ex-wife’s non-stop work schedule which he says leaves his son constantly in the care of “unskilled nannies.”

Shepherd’s ex says he wants to help, but blames the distance between California (where he lives) and New Jersey (where Shepherd, 47, and Jeffrey Jr. live).

The website reports that Shepherd filed paperwork in response, accusing Tarpley of being an absentee father who shouldn’t be a part of his son’s life.

Tarpley’s request was initially denied by a judge, but a hearing was set for July to settle the matter.

Sally, who’s been married to Shepherd for three years, also filed for separation earlier this month.

Shepherd divorced Tarpley, her first husband, after she discovered he was having an affair following Jeffrey Jr.’s premature birth and learned the other woman was pregnant with Tarpley’s child.
