Joy Behar hopeful over ‘The View’ reshuffle

Joy Behar thinks the dramatic shake-up at “The View” — including the axing of Sherri Shepherd and Jenny McCarthy — will help boost her old show’s ratings.

“I think it’s good for ‘The View’…It’s must-see TV in the fall, for sure,” Behar told us at Guild Hall in East Hampton on Saturday.

The comic added she’ll be tuning in “for a while” herself to see how it pans out.

“I don’t know who they’re going to get, but [there’s] a rumor it’s going to be conservatives,” she added. “It will be more contentious…but it will be more interesting to watch.”

Rosie O’Donnell was recently added to join Whoopi Goldberg, after Shepherd and McCarthy were fired and Barbara Walters retired. Behar exited last year.
