Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino’s mom Linda is pretty tough. According to a new interview with E! News, she’s the one responsible for giving Sorrentino his black eye in mid-June.
“I’m going to let you in on a secret, mom is the one who got him,” said the former “Jersey Shore” star’s older brother, Marc. “She got him with a left. Mom’s the tough one.”
Although Linda says she broke her finger in the incident, she wasn’t trying to hurt him. “I was trying to break him and Frank up and I think I missed and …”
Sorrentino was arrested after a fight with his brother, Frank, on June 17 at their family-owned tanning salon. He was charged with simple assault and he was released on $500 bail.
Marc says everybody has a brother or sister they fight with. “Everyone was asking us if it was for the show, but it wasn’t,” he said. “We were wrapped already. There were no cameras filming it.”
To add insult to injury, on Thursday Defamer reported that Sorrentino and his brother Marc are being sued by law firm Wolfe Law Miami for “unpaid legal fees, breach of oral agreement, account stated, unjust enrichment and worthless checks.”
The firm, which the brothers hired in 2009, is seeking $29,175.20 plus an extra $12,000 according to a lawsuit filed in Miami-Dade County.
