New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo has won the backing of Hollywood, and a host of movie moguls will throw him a fund-raiser on Thursday.
The bash will be held at the home of Ann and Jim Gianopulos, chairman and CEO of Fox Filmed Entertainment.
And there’s a high-powered A-list of Hollywood co-hosts, including Paramount’s Brad Grey, DreamWorks Animation’s Jeffrey Katzenberg, Sony CEO Michael Lynton, NBCUniversal’s Ron Meyer, CBS’s Les Moonves, Steven Spielberg and producer and Giants co-owner Steve Tisch. Tickets go up to $25,000 each.
Cuomo has raised $7 million in the past six months for his re-election and has a total of $33.3 million, his campaign reports.
