Teller in a yearbook photo.

Before he was famous, Teller — the half of magic duo Penn & Teller who famously never speaks and only uses a surname — was Mr. Raymond Teller, a Latin teacher at Lawrence HS in New Jersey.

The magic man’s little-known past was revealed Tuesday when Teller unveiled his debut documentary, “Tim’s Vermeer,” at MoMA, and a former student showed up with a yearbook for him to sign.

Spies said Teller obliged, but also used the pen to cross out “Raymond” from his name under a black-and-white faculty photo.

Also spotted: Penn Jillette, Sony Classics’ Tom Bernard and Michael Barker, Gilbert Gottfried and the film’s Tim Jenison, a computer whiz obsessed with recreating a Vermeer painting.
