Broncos players book Hooters for party

Tickets to the Super Bowl are hard to score, even for the families of NFL stars.

So Denver Broncos safety Mike Adams and Robert Ayers are hosting their relatives during the game at a Hooters in Hackensack, N.J. to watch the big game.

We’re told Adams, who is from Paterson N.J., and Jersey City native Ayers are hosting 20 of their friends and family at Hooters to watch the game, a staffer confirmed. We’re also told us there will be plenty of chicken wings on hand for the big game—the restaurant has ordered roughly 30,000 wings to feed hungry football fans both at the restaurant and for takeout orders.

The two players, along with Broncos running back and Middletown, N.J. native Knowshon Moreno, will sign autographs for fans at the busy restaurant Wednesday night.

Adams Monday night had dinner at his grandmother’s house, and vowed to walk home to Paterson from Met Life Stadium if his team wins on Sunday.

“If we win the Super Bowl, I’m going to keep my helmet and pads on and I’m walking home,” he told the Denver Post earlier this week.

Ayers attended Jersey City grammar school Sacred Heart, and returned there on Tuesday to greet faculty and students. The defensive end attended Hoboken High School before moving to South Carolina during his freshman year.
