Countess LuAnn de Lesseps showed off her new house in Sag Harbor on Sunday night, and an impressive repertoire of dirty jokes.
Asked how she could remember so many ribald punch lines, Luann told me, “I write them down.”
The former star of “The Real Housewives of New York City” has her old house in Bridgehampton rented out for the summer. The property, including a tennis court and swimming pool, is also on the market for $8.5 million.
Her place on the bay features gaudy sunsets and a speedboat tied to her dock, admired by such guests as Lady Liliana Cavendish, Irik and Ann Marie Sevin, Richard and Donna Soloway, and Campion and Tatiana Platt.
Between jokes, steak and paella, Luann told how she was working as a showgirl in Italy when media mogul Silvio Berlusconi, the future prime minister, noticed her and put her on the biggest soccer show in Italy with 15 million viewers.
“I was a star overnight. It changed my life,” Luann said
