Hunky golf star Adam Scott in secret wedding to Swedish architect

Golf glamour boy Adam Scott secretly tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend in the back yard of his Bahamas pad.

The Australian golfer married Swedish architect Marie Kojzar on April 17, four days after The Masters tournament.

“It’s official. I am a settled-down man and very happy,” Scott, 33, said of their laid-back island wedding. “It was just our family and a few friends and obviously there are a lot of people we would have liked to have had there who weren’t but . . . we decided to have a very low-key affair.”

The couple decided to skip the engagement and exchange vows without the hubbub of a society wedding. Kojzar, 32, wore a simple dress, and Scott, 33, wore a suit with bow tie.

“We just decided to get on with it. We’ve known each other long enough, let’s go and jump right in the deep end,” said the 2013 Masters champion.

“She doesn’t need a traditional wedding dress to look so beautiful. We dressed up a little bit but it was still in the back yard.

“It was more about not building it up into something too big that may have gotten out of hand but it was a fun event for everyone who was there and hopefully we will have fun celebrating with other friends when we catch up with them.”

Like how Tiger Woods met his ex-wife, Swedish beauty Elin Nordegren when she was working as a nanny, Scott first linked up with Kojzar when she was working as an au pair in Sweden for the family of golfer Thomas Bjorn in 2001. The two were together for seven years until their first split. They reunited shortly before he won The Masters last year.

Shortly after Scott split with tennis beauty Ana Ivanovic, producers of ABC’s “The Bachelor” pursued Australia’s most eligible bachelor to be a contestant last year on the dating show where one man dates 25 women at once in the search for love.

Women around the world rejoiced at the prospect of seeing the golf hunk in their living room every week.

“The Adam Scott as #Bachelor idea has exploded. Will try and meet,” Bachelor executive producer Robert Mills tweeted at the time.

But Scott quickly corrected the record by publicly announcing he was not single and was dating Kojzar.

“That’s all quite embarrassing really, but no, I am not single at all. I’m very much in a relationship and very happy at the moment,” Scott told CBS at the time.

Scott also has been romantically tied to Kate Hudson.

The golf star, a native of Adelaide, Australia who attended the the University of Nevada in Las Vegas, has won 23 pro tournaments, including 10 on the PGA Tour.
