Gloria Steinem was confronted by a standing ovation of look-alikes at the New York Women’s Foundation’s Celebrating Women breakfast at the Marriott Marquis.
The 2,200 guests were each given a pair of the feminist icon’s trademark aviators and asked to don them as an homage to the Century Award honoree.
Steinem told the crowd, “I’m using my torch to light up other torches, because if we each don’t have one, how the hell are we going to see where we’re going?”
