‘Big ballers’ gather to support prostate cancer research

A host of big ballers, including host Michael Milken, Steve Schwarzman, Richard LeFrak and David Koch, got together Saturday to raise money for prostate cancer research.

At the Prostate Cancer Foundation’s “This Is It” gala at the Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill, Milken started a game of trivia, a kind of ‘Who Wants To Be a Trillionaire,’ with questions like, “Which of these five movies was filmed in the Hamptons? Answer ‘Something’s Gotta Give’.”

Milken talked about how he and Koch were inspired to fund prostate cancer research after they were both diagnosed in ’93, and the organization has since funded more than 2,000 research projects.

He said, “In three years, we will turn this life-threatening disease into a chronic disease.”

Guests including Miles Nadal, David Yurman, Glenn Myles, Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo, Larry Leeds and Nouriel Roubini were later treated to surprise guest Kenny Loggins, who brought the house down with hits including the “Top Gun” theme song “Danger Zone,” appropriate for this heavy hitting crowd,
