Beastie Boys diss Schwarzenegger: ‘We’re not fans’

The Beastie Boys say they’re no fans of Arnold Schwarzenegger — and they shot down a high-priced offer for their hit “Sabotage” to be featured in his movie of the same title.

Testifying in a Manhattan Federal Court civil trial over a copyright lawsuit the band has against Monster Energy Drink, Mike D said the Beastie Boys are picky about allowing their songs to be used for promotions.

For example, he said Schwarzenegger’s camp offered the group “a lot of money” to use their 1994 song for the actor’s action flick “Sabotage,” which bombed at the box office in March.

“We felt it was too much of an endorsement, and we weren’t fans of Mr. Schwarzenegger’s recent . . . work,” he explained.
